Individual Therapy

I offer individual therapy for youth and adults that is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for each person's story. My approach is informed by psychodynamic and attachment-based principles, with a strong foundation in developmental trauma and polyvagal theory. This means I pay close attention to how early relationships and nervous system patterns shape how we experience ourselves, others, and the world around us.

In our work together, we’ll explore not just what’s going wrong, but why it makes sense viewing symptoms like anxiety, emotional dysregulation, or patterns in relationships as survival strategies that once served a purpose. I strive to create a space that feels safe enough to slow down, tune in, and make sense of your experiences with care and without judgment.

For those needing practical tools to manage distress in the here and now, I also draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), offering skills for emotion regulation, mindfulness, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
